Blossom Music Center, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 31, 2008

Some of these pictures were taken from the first row of the center section. My friends were not in the seats when I went say "Hello," so I did what any good Clapton fan would do. I took one of them! Unfortunately, a security person said I could not use my camera because "professional" cameras were not allowed. I snapped pictures anyway, but had little time to really compose the shot well. The remainder of the pictures were taken from the second row, right section.

Please note the Heads On A Stick! My friend James V. tossed a Robert Randolph Head On A Stick onto the stage during Robert's set. He did this not once, but twice! The second time, he actually walked to the front of the stage and showed Robert the Head. When he nodded, James tossed it onto the stage beside him. After his set, Robert picked up the first Head as he left.

Now, for most people that would have been enough. But not James. He either tossed or handed a Doyle Bramhall II Head On A Stick (hereafter just called "Head") to Doyle. He looked at it during the final bow. In the picture, it looks like Eric, Chris and Pino are also looking at it. Then Robert got Head and held it over his face. Finally Sharon White got Head and held it in front of her face as she left. Sharon also mouthed to James "I want one" and he mouthed "Of you?" She gave him that "Oh no you did-unt" look and responded in the affirmative. We're working on it, Sharon!

Click on the small picture for a larger version. The name of the file should contain the date and time of the photograph. For example, 2004_0605_191229AA.JPG would have been taken on June 5, 2004, at 12 minutes and 29 seconds after 7 PM Eastern time.

I used a digital camera (Canon PowerShot S5IS, 8 megapixel, 12 X optical zoom) with no flash. The resolution is 75% and the size was decreased from their original size of 3264 by 2448 pixels to 1280 by 960 pixels. Some pictures were also cropped. Hope you like them!

The Head On A Stick Team, ready for action!

Robert Randolph leans over to pick up his Head On A Stick...

...and proudly displays it!

This is what Eric Clapton looks like from the front row!

Every picture (or two) tells a story! Eric has just sung "Got my mojo working but it..." Robert wails away one final time.

And the encore ends with "...just don't work on you." But the show is not over...
